Mock mode is on (MOCK_EXTERNAL=1). Voice notes are not really transcribed (you always get the same canned text), pupils' audio is silent, and replies are canned. For real speech and voices: set MOCK_EXTERNAL=0 in .env, then restart the app from a new terminal window. A MOCK_EXTERNAL set in the terminal (e.g. $env:MOCK_EXTERNAL = "1") overrides .env.
